Full calfskin binding, with gilt edges, marbled endpapers, and a green textile ribbon marker. Sewn two-on on three recessed cords in six-folio sections. Binding has become unevenly wedge-shaped, and upper cover joint is beginning to split.

T R E A T M E N T

Leather was chemically consolidated. A custom clamshell was built incorporating a small cloth-covered wedge, made from Duo bookcloth with a Kwikprinted label.
